  1. Discuss your expectations:

Once your medical history, physical examination and photographs are done, it is now time to discuss your aesthetic goals and expectations.   1. Quit Smoking:

If you are a smoker, then you are going to have to quit smoking at least 2 weeks before undergoing the procedure and will have to wait for at least about 2 to 3 weeks after the surgery to resume smoking. Smoking can impact and the bleeding and bruising during the surgery. It also affects how quickly you can recover.

  1. Driving:

You will have to undergo anaesthesia for the surgery, hence, you would be unable to drive at least for 24 hours. Arrange for someone to drive you home after the procedure is done.

  1. Cleaning and Lifting:

Before undergoing the procedure make sure you do get all your cleaning and heavy lifting done. After undergoing the procedure, you will have to refrain from both of these activities for a minimum period of 3 weeks.

  1. Stock up your fridge:

Stock up your fridge with plenty of drinks because your mouth might run dry as you will have to breathe from your mouth. Stock up on food which is soft.
